GES had an assembly to kickoff their One School, One Book initiative. Every member of the school family will receive the book, “Friendship According to Humphrey” and read it together. Humphrey even sent his friend, Hamilton to join the GES family in this adventure!

Our School Has Heart!
We are just 2 days into our challenge and have raised 35% of our goal!
It's not too late to join us in learning about heart health and raising funds to protect all hearts – especially other kids’! Through fun activities we’ll discover ways to take care of our hearts and brains while practicing kindness, gratitude and learning ways to de-stress. Plus, we have the chance to earn PE equipment for our school!

Students will visit the book fair during the scheduled Media class.

Please share! We are proud to be a participant in the Caroline Cares Community Resource Day, sponsored by the Caroline Local Homeless Board. The event connects families in need with resources and services, and will be held Wednesday, January 25 from 9:30 am until 1:00 pm at St. Luke's Methodist Church on 5th Avenue in Denton. Free services, information and assistance will be provided from a wide variety of community programs and partners. Free transportation provided to and from specific locations.
