GES will be honoring the Hispanic Holiday of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Tuesday November 1, 2022. This Celebration is a happy holiday focused on deceased loved ones, keeping their memories alive, and celebrating the continuation of life beyond the one we live here on Earth. We are inviting all students and staff to bring in one picture of a loved one who has passed away to be displayed on our school wide ofrenda!
A copy of the photo is due tomorrow Friday, October 28th. Please write your students name and homeroom teacher on the back of the photo so it can be returned. You may also text or email the photo to Mrs. MacFarland 301-541-7322 or Macfarland.colleen@ccpsstaff.org

Esta celebración es una festividad feliz enfocada en los seres queridos fallecidos, manteniendo vivos sus recuerdos y celebrando la continuación de la vida más allá de la uno que vivimos aquí en la Tierra. ¡Estamos invitando a todos los estudiantes y al personal a que traigan una foto de un ser querido que haya fallecido para exhibirla en nuestra ofrenda escolar!
Una copia de la foto debe entregarse mañana Viernes, 28 de Octubre. Por favor, escriba el nombre de su estudiante y el del maestro/a de clase en el reverso de la foto para que pueda ser devuelta.
